Here's what I remember ( I only read it once, so there isn't much to go on):

It was an au fiction, where Dean was apparently killed during an explosion at the end of some battle that averted the apocalypse. Dean's body was never found. Sam went to live with Amy (or Amelia?). At some point, Sam had dreams (or something) and left Amelia to search for Dean, and found him in Mexico (or South America?), living in a convent. Dean thought his own name is Sammy, and his behavior suggests brain damage. Sam brings Dean home to Amelia, and in the end, it turns out that Dean wasn't brain damaged at all. It was just severe memory loss...

That's the bare bones of it. If you've read it and know the name of it, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Hello! Been looking for these fics for a while and finally got up the courage to post.

1. This one is a Destiel AU in which Dean is really close friends with Cas and they both are mutually pining for each other and Dean is under a lot of stress mostly due to John. Dean is working in Bobby's shop and since he's so stressed out he gets careless and ends up being pinned under a car or large toolbox. He is found by Bobby and taken to the hospital. When he wakes up in the hospital he has amnesia and doesn't remember anyone, but he definitely knows he's attracted to Cas and wonders if he's his boyfriend. Dean eventually gets his memory back, tries to deny his feelings, but eventually gives into them and it's a happy ending.

2. I don't remember much about this one but it is a Destiel high school AU that involved Dean bullying Cas and then them eventually getting together. Dean may have had some stuff going on in his home life or denial of his homosexual feelings that made him act that way? There was also a sequel (I think) where all of Cas's siblings hate Dean for bullying Cas before they got together and didn't understand their relationship which made Dean's self-loathing kick in. I also think Dean had some sort of confrontation with Gabriel at some point. Everything gets worked out in the end.

3. I have been searching for download links for all 4 books of Bloody_Adorable and evil_twin's Smoke & Lightning 'verse, which is a J2 AU fic, and all the links I've come across have been broken. Does anyone happen to know where to find working links to all 4 books or have copies they'd be willing to share?

Looking for a fic where Sam and Dean are hunting a ghost. They call Bobby for info, and when he hears what town they're in, he rushes to join them. The boys don't remember being there before, but they were when John and Bobby were on a hunt. Flashback has a pedofile ghost going after Dean in their hotel room, because he's trying to protect Sam. He makes a deal that if he doesn't fight, he won't hurt Sammy. Dean doesn't remember it in the present, but Bobby suspected more happened than Dean admitted to at the time. Somehow, the ghost is back, maybe? I think they had to kill it again in the present. Any help? I wanna say the title is the name of the town, but I'm not certain. Gen fic, case fic.

Hi! I'm looking for 2 separate specific fics, both involving Sam & Dean, probably Gen although maybe Sam/Dean.

1) A casefic set in Season 1-3, I believe, when Sam's psychic powers were still active but before Cas/Ruby become involved. Sam has some sort of vision or premonition about a woman who's in danger (in a vision, he sees her involuntarily commit suicide due to some supernatural influence) in a town somewhere in the Midwest or East Coast (I think). I don't remember why, but Sam hesitates to tell Dean this. Instead, he convinces Dean to come with him to this town on a thin lead regarding a water monster in a lake or river nearby. Dean doesn't believe him from the jump and knows Sam's hiding something, but trusts Sam enough to play along, although he's not happy about it. Sam finds the woman (who I think is a divorce attorney or something), through the help of a local diner waitress, and visits her on his own while he sends Dean off to do more research on the fictional water monster. Turns out, the water monster is real and the boys eventually take it out. Sam then sneaks off on his own again to help the woman; he stays at her place overnight and somehow prevents the supernatural influence from causing the woman to commit suicide. Dean keeps calling Sam's phone as he doesn't know where Sam is, but Sam again being sneaky doesn't call back until he saves the woman. At the end of the fic, in a token of gratitude, the woman invites Sam and Dean to have dinner at her house. This fic is probably moderate length (at least a few thousand words) and had, I think, 3-4 sections/chapters, and I think I read it on LJ or Dreamwidth.

2) Fic set in a post-apocalyptic world where human civilization is rebuilding itself, and the Winchester boys have become myth/legend for saving the world. Dean and Sam have become separated and Dean lost his memories somehow. It's written from Dean's POV but his name isn't mentioned because he doesn't remember who he is, and we only know based on description of his physical appearance and other hints. He seems like a storyteller/seer-type figure to the people around him. At the end, Sam comes and finds him, and I think I remember that Sam touches Dean's face, which is when Dean remembers who they both are. This fic is shorter (maybe 1-2 sections/chapters on LJ or Dreamwidth).

I've gone through all my bookmarks, sifted through my history for the last several months trying to find these stories but somehow I can't find them. Any help would be appreciated; these fics were beautifully written and I'd love to read them again. Thanks so much!!

Hi! So the first fic is an AU set during season 9 after Sam discovers Dean "tricked" him into saying yes to Gadreel. In the fic, Dean and Sam are mates but once Sam finds out about everything, he begins to unintentionally sever the bond between himself and Dean causing Dean to become sick. Dean eventually decides to kill himself to allow Sam to mate with someone else but Castiel intervenes before it is too late.

The second fic takes place earlier in the Supernatural timeline. I remember Dean named his teddy bear FUBAR after he mentally regresses to the mind frame of a child after a traumatic event. There's also a firefighter that Dean becomes close to during the story.

So I read this fic ages ago and it's driving me crazy that I can't find it. It involved Dean somehow losing his memory and being taken in by a church where he becomes a priest (or at least the church allowing him to remain there until he regained his memory). Enter Sam who was trying to track his brother down and finds him in the church. I'm not sure about the exact details about what happens next, but I'm pretty sure it involves Sam trying to jog Dean's memory (wincest ensues?), and the fic ends with Dean finally regaining his memories and him and Sam reuniting properly again (I think). I'm pretty sure the entire fic was from Dean's pov. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

On a side note, what are the best wincest/j2 priest!fics you can recommend? (Not priest!kink, but fics where one of the boys are actually priests).

This a story I had about 4 or 5 computers ago and can't seem to find again. I can't recall which Winchester brother had which role so let's just say it's Sam who's living a normal life with a good job and a beautiful loving wife. One day Dean shows up at his door and tells him he's living in a fantasy world cooked by a demon posing as his wife. Can't remember if Sam thought Dean was dead, of if he didn't know him at all. I think (but I'm not sure) that Dean confronts and finally kills the demon and Sam remembers and goes back to being with Dean (which may or may not be slash). I've been searching for this one on and off for the last 3 years and really would like to find it again.

I'm going on a long road trip soon and wanted some awesome fics to pass the time! I haven't read a SPN fanfic since March 2014 (ish), so I'm looking mostly for fics created in 2014 or 2015, but that's by no means a rule. These are some of the genres I like, but if you have any angsty/dark/epic personal favorites, feel free to share those, too!

I prefer Wincest and Gen, but will read Destiel, RPS, and OC Romances if the story is really good. I'm cool with very dark fics, and I have no problem with major character death... I like me a good tearjerker. I'd prefer if the fics don't go too AU (unless it's a crossover or something), but again, I'll make exceptions for a good story.

1. Blind!Dean or Blind!Jensen. Or more generally, any fics where Dean/Jensen isn't born disabled, but becomes disabled over the course of the fic. Will read disabled Jared/Sam if the story is good enough.
2. Demon!Dean, especially AUs where Dean wasn't cured in 10x03.
3. Crossovers with Merlin, Stargate (SG1/Atlantis), Star Trek (TOS/TNG/VOY/Movies), Doctor Who, Dark Angel, NCIS, or Fringe.

7. One of the Winchesters is cursed.
8. Any fics where Dean is (willingly or unwillingly) used as a vessel. I kind of expect Destiel in a fic like this, so it's fine in this case.
9. Bodyswap fics!
10. Possessed!Dean
11. Fics where Dean decided to stay young in "About A Boy."
12. Cast-Are-Characters or Cast-Meet-Characters.

I am first looking for a story I forget which one
develops amnesia
but sam or dean or jared or jensen dont remember which of

them has amnesia maybe after a HUNT. The one with amnesia ends
up having a
small town be protective of him. The other brother comes back for

form or fashion---waits to see if his brother remember him. I
believe they

I read this story a long time ago (years I think) so what I can remember is this...

Dean is cursed and doesn't remember that Sam is his brother. The boys go back to Bobby's house to try and fix the curse. At one point Dean offers Sam some kind of meat (a burger maybe?), but Sam refuses and when Dean asks why Sam said he'd know why if he remembered Sam at all. I think this comes from when Sam was tortured by his cousins and one of them tried to literally eat him and he still has the bite marks from it.

I also think Dean didn't really want to remember he had a little brother all that much because he liked being an only child.

This may or may not be me mixing two stories together, so if any of this sounds familiar let me know. Thanks guys!

Hi! All I really remember is that Dean and Sam were on a case and in a small town bed and breakfast sort of place. The creature they were hunting was possessing Dean or getting into his dreams and he kept passing out. It became harder and harder for him to regain consciousness each time the spirit (?) Went into him. And I think there were amnesia aspects where he would think he was the ghost/spirit/whatever whenever he woke up. There was a scene where Dean said that he was afraid to go to sleep because he didn't know if he was going to remember who he was when he wakes up.

Please help!

Okay, hopefully you guys can help me out here. I'm looking for 3 specific fics that seem to have gotten lost in my rather enormous stash of fanfiction. Sorry if there's not much to go on here :/

1: In the first fic the boys are hunting and Dean is hit with an amnesia spell and I think it had something to do with the trickster. Dean doesn't remember anything--he forgets that he is Sam's brother and Sam decides not to tell him, which leads to wincest and both boys hunting together. I think in the end the trickster comes back and the truth comes out that Sam and Dean are brothers. Dean is pretty pissed off about that but there is a happy ending.

2: In the second fic the boys are separated at early age by something. They meet in a bar in some town and Dean was a hooker. Dean thought Sam was a bit young and naive and he tested Sam by having him drink alcohol. Dean was convinced, though, when Sam took out a wad of cash. Sam payed Dean for sex, but Sam surprised Dean when Sam asked Dean to fuck him instead of the other way around. Later, they meet up again and they realize that their memories of being separated match up and that they are brothers, which leads to some angst, but they sort things out. I think Dean was still hunting the supernatural in this one.

3: The last fic I'm looking for is a slave!Jared fic. The one where Jared is Jensen's childhood companion as a kid and when Jensen goes to college, Jensen's parents send Jared to a slave training institute and Jared performs very well there and Jared is able to go back to Jensen's house on a break. When Jensen finds out what his parents did, Jensen wants to buy Jared back so he saves up money and rushes to the auction where Jared is being sold, but he is too late. Later, Jensen's uncle ends up giving Jared to Jensen as a present at Jensen's dorm door and they finally have sex.

Hi everybody! So I'm looking for a wincest fic, one where Dean has amnesia. He was living with Lisa and Ben, so this was after Sam had fallen into the pit. When Sam comes back, he disguises himself with magic or an amulet or something and he's working in a coffee shop that Dean goes to everyday.

I think Dean regains his memories/finds out who Sam is and leaves with him? I'm a little fuzzy on the ending.

I'm looking for a story where Dean is cursed into losing his memories. He develops an attraction for Sam and Sam for whatever reason decides not to tell Dean that they're brothers. Sam fends off Dean's advances until he can't. I thought the story might be by RivkaT but I'm not sure. I tried to find it on Ao3. Anyway, by the end, Dean regains his memory and is angry that Sam lied to him. They part ways (temporarily).

So, I'm trying to find this one fanfiction where Dean and Sam are Turned into vampires. Bobby, Ellen, Rufus, and Jo (maybe, not sure) find them and become their Kiss (is that the right word?) after they are seriously wounded. I'm looking for a slash fic where Sam and Dean are at Rufus's cabin (I think) and they find an old cel phone which has Sam and Dean posing as if they were lovers. Cas shows up and tells the guys how he was ordered to remove their affection for each other so they would follow their destiny as the Angels wanted them to. They end up getting their memories I think and become lovers again.
