Hi there!

I need a help finding an old fanfic. The platform was either AO3 or fanfiction.net, probably the latter.

TW FOR GORE but the plot is Sam made a deal with this man where has has to give some of his blood away to the man once a week to save Dean from hell. The man gives the blood to this vampire, Sam passes out from blood loss in an alley way, Dean finds him, and he goes to a hospital, but plays it off as nothing. Dean follows him giving blood and Lilith shows up.

Hi! I'm looking for a fic I read on ao3. It was gen and a one-shot. It included Dean getting brain damaged after he hit his head on a hunt on an angel statue in a cemetery. He is in a coma for a while and the doctors think he is going to die, but he wakes up although he has many problems like seizures, difficulty walking and forming sentences and problems with one arm. He gets a little better before Sam pulls him out of the hospital and takes him to a bunch of faith healers and such. I remember Dean being really sweet and open with Sam in his condition

In the end there's a big twist that this fic took place in season 3 and Sam wasn't trying to heal Dean's brain, but find a way to save his soul from the deal before his year is up.

Hey there everyone! :-)

I hope you'll be able to help me out, 'cause I've been going crazy on my own trying to find this.

So, I am looking for a specific fic. Sadly I don't remember the title or the author, only that it was on AO3. Every chapter was one episode of the show. The author or authors were up to season 8 or something, I think? Basically, it was about a character from every episode mistaking Sam and Dean somehow for a couple, although they aren't together. It was awesome reading how every episode could have some Wincest and the boys reaction to it.

So to recap, every chapter was from a different outsider point of view, it wasn't actual slash, but the outsider always thinks the boys are together, there are many chapters (though the single chapters aren't actually every long) and it's still a work in progress.

Rings any bells? I've no idea how I can't seem to find this on my own...
I'd really be grateful for your help! <3

Edit: Found! It's Fumbling in the Dark by leonidaslion and I've simply got very selective memory concerning the summary and the first chapter.

I'm looking for a list of Sam/Dean recs that was on someone's livejournal that I've now lost the link to. Given the age of the stories I remember being on that list, I'm guessing it was made sometime before 2009. The rec list was just a list of names of stories, with no descriptions or other information. There was a lot astolat on the list.

I know it's a longshot to ask for help here, but there are a lot of stories on that list that I haven't saved the link to elsewhere, so I'm worried I'll never be able to find them again without that list.

Hi! I was talking to a friend on Tumblr about the Season 3 storyline that never was and they were wondering about fics where Sam saves Dean from going to Hell. (I'd also take fic where Sam rescues Dean from Hell.) I know I've read loads of really great ones but I'm terrible at keeping a record of my reading and so I'm hoping you guys can help. I just want good, well-written stories that offer a different ending to Season 3. I'll take gen or Wincest, long or short, just your favourites and the best ones you've read.

So, I have a hankering for fics that address the selfish comment Sam made about Dean in S9. Where he said that Dean is fine with sacrificing as long as he's not the one getting hurt. I really would love to see a fic where Sam is corrected. I'm not looking for the part where Sam says that he wouldn't do the same for Dean (save him if he were dying). I understand that part as miscommunication (Holy blonde cheerleader Batman, miscommunication!). I want it to brought to Sam's attention on just how much Dean has sacrificed for him over their lives. Stuff like, HELL?! Leaving Ben and Lisa (he tells Sam if he ever mentions their names again, he's going to break his nose...), his entire childhood, etc.

And... Are there any fics out there where it's brought out maybe just how far back or how long Dean's progression may have been? Like this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0uk8g2ZMqzw

Perhaps maybe, when other characters sit and think about it, Dean's road to a demon never truly stopped from S3/4? The Mark just sped things up to where he couldn't fight against it anymore? (I don't believe Dean is inherently a bad person, just a thought about the way his life has gone, how much for granted he's taken by everyone, etc. I just think that takes a greater toll than the show has portrayed up until S9/10).

I am looking for any fics when Jensen and Jared meet for the first time for roles of Dean and Sam Winchester, and its love at first sight or even lust at first sight. But they are unsure if the other feels the same.

I would preferred it to be between season 1 thru 3, it could be a slow build or one shot, or I will accept W.I.P and also definitely self- rec's welcome.

I'm looking for a story about the time while Dean is hell and Sam's reaction to his death - drinking too much? Not sleeping? Suicidal missions? I would also be interested in how this holds over after Dean returns.

I've just gotten my brother into the show long-distance (he lives in CT and I'm in FL). I don't think he even knows fanfic exists, but he does love the show.

What I'm asking for are stories you absolutely love: either with the brothers' relationship or the hunt, whatever. I would prefer to give him something not really arc-heavy, but something someone who is just watching the first time via re-runs on TNT. That puts him only up to season 6. Honestly, I'm not sure how much of the earlier seasons he managed to watch, I think it may be a little spotty so maybe nothing involving the deal. If you want to rec something like that, mark it and I can save it for later.

I know I've read this particular story at least twice but it never made it to my Delicious list.

I think it's set around Christmas - the main action at the end takes place in the town square and has to do with lighting the tree. The reason the boys are there in the first place has me a little mixed up. It's either due to Sam's visions or just a regular hunt. I think at one point there is a rescue of a boy that fell into a river. There might also have been a mass rescue of kidnapped children. Also, I think it's early, maybe season 1-3?

The bit with the tree is what I really remember. I checked the Christmas tags and didn't see it.

Hey Guys!

I'm back and this time I am looking for a specific story.

1. The story was set around the time when Dean had one year before he had to go to hell. So, instead of hunting around trying to find a way out of the deal, they (Sam and Dean) travel around for leisure because Dean is trying to live out the time he has to the fullest? In this one I believe that Sam is the one who is feelings for Dean and Dean somehow figures it out....

2. The 2nd story I am looking for is in the same setting actually. (Dean going to hell in a year)The only difference between theses two is that in this story I remember that Dean had this list that Sam found, listing all of the things he had hoped to do before dying. Sam tries to cover as much of the stuff he can without Dean finding out, but somewhere in the list he finds out Dean wants to kiss him? Awkwardness, Angst, ensures...

I am somewhat sure that these are not the exact same stories and if it helps I am 100% sure that both of these stories are Top!Dean because that's all I read...

So my brother's been watching a lot of Criminal Minds lately, and I got to thinking. There are a ton of crossovers with CM out there, but as far as I can tell most of them are set relatively late in SPN canon--earliest I can think of off the top of my head is one in Season 4. If anyone could rec something a little earlier that would be great.

One thing that bothers me, though, is St. Louis. A shapeshifter taking the form of women's significant others while they're out of town and torturing them to death? Take out the shapeshifter angle and that case would be right out of CM, so why hasn't anyone put them there?

Basically, I would love it if someone could point out a crossover with CM set in the SPN episode 'Skin' or any other fic set in the early seasons of Supernatural.

So I just started rewatching from the beginning of the series (again), and now I'm wondering if there are any fics out there that either:

1. Are AU/AR or AU-ish with Cas appearing sometime before Season 4 (Season 1-3 or pre-series)

or

2. Involve Cas learning about how the events of those earlier years, either by it coming up somehow or by needing to time-travel back to that time, or any reason really. The brothers had all sorts of issues those early years, especially over Sam's resentment of Dean, that were mostly smoothed over (or buried) by the time Cas came around, so anything that shows him addressing any of that sort of thing.

Any rating, any warning, is fine.
I'd prefer Dean/Cas or Gen. Please no Wincest.

I was wondering if anyone ever wrote a story about someone most likely Sam shooting Dean with the colt, so Dean still dies but he doesn't go to Hell.

The theory behind the gun at the time was that it could kill anything and I assume that a demon shot with the gun wouldn't go back to hell like they do after they have been exercised. Therefore shooting Dean with the gun would prevent him from going to hell.

Hi guys. I'm looking for a specific fic, an old one - it was written sometime in season 3 or between season 3 and 4, as far as I can remember. I've read it a few years ago, so I hope I can remember it well enough.
This is a oneshot of a rather short or medium length, in which you only reveal the point of the story at the very end. It's a gen, and naturally, no angels are involved. The brothers are traveling, I think they are just traveling and not hunting as well, and the whole time Dean - whose point of view we are seeing - feels that there is something rather weird about it all, but he can't tell what exactly. At the end, it reveled that everything they saw was actually an artificial world that Sam created somehow with his powers and contains recollections of his memories and experiences, and the whole real world outside of them is ruined, everyone dead but the two of them.

I wish someone would be able to help - I'd be so happy! :)
