Looking for hurt Sam pre canon story!

Hi! I'm looking for a story I can across awhile ago. The boys were younger (not sure how old) and they were on a hunt. I want to say that bobby and Caleb were included on the hunt. Anyways john got the monster wrong, and Sam figured out it was a wendigo and had to more or less sacrifice himself because everyone else has been trapped. Sorry it's not the best explanation, but I've been wanting to re-read it lately! Thanks!

I'm not sure but that kind of sounds like Rites of Passage. It's Pastor Jim instead of Bobby and not a Wendigo but similar. If it's not it I think you'll like it anyway!
