spnstoryfinders_ljI read this story awhile ago. Sam decides to say yes to Michael instead of lucifer to end the apocalypse. He's mind becomes damaged and the angels take in Sam and take care of him. Eventually Dean finds them and wants back into Sams life. Gabriel and Michael i think were two of the primary caretakers.
