Demon in the Desert (Specific Fic)

spnstoryfinders_ljI have minimal recollection of this story, other than a vague memory of the plot and details of one scene.
The boys are in a desert town, something like the area of Death Valley. They may be on the trail of a Native American spirit or demon. The scene I recall is (probably) Dean in a roadside bar in the wee hours of the morning and having a conversation with this... creature in the form of a man. It's a powerful creature but it decides to sit and speak to the puny human. I think it tells its life story and why it does what it does. I think Dean is in fear of his life, but is in thrall of this thing.

Date: 2015-05-07 05:46 pm (UTC)In the story I'm seeking I also remember very vivid descriptions of the desert at night - the thousands of stars in the sky, the mountains in the distance, how cold it gets at night. The scene in the bar was descriptive too - how it was empty except for the creature and Dean, the silence and the feeling of malevolent evil while the demon thing spoke. Maybe this will help too.
