Destiel Angel Custom(s)

I'm looking for destiel fics (established or starting) where some angel custom crops up and causes either problems or confusion. be it nesting, a particular view on the roles of humans and angels in matings, or anything else whatsoever so long as it causes a bump in the road as it were. So if its a fic before they get together it can be about how castiel views them as already together or as dean belonging to him due to the handprint scar or what he's done for dean.

NorthernSparrow has written a pair of stories that sort of fit what you're looking for. The first is about how an awful miscommunication (due in part by Castiel's lack of knowledge of nuances in English and human customs) leads to Castiel feeling as if he is unwanted and trying to live on his own for months. The second story, which is Destiel, explores angel physiology and angel customs surrounding wing maintenance and the duties of an angel's mate or friends during molt. There are a lot of misunderstandings along the way as Dean learns about angel customs and Castiel learns about human customs, and those misunderstandings do cause a few problems. The stories also have excellent plots, fully realized original characters, and a whole lot of awesome action scenes and drama, among other things. One of the best parts about these stories is that the author studies birds for a living, so his/her knowledge of wings is pretty involved.

On A Wing And A Prayer (http://otp-destiel.livejournal.com/38960.html) - a Bonded Pair has the power to defeat Lucifer by using some ritual. Cas and Dean began the bonding process accidentally without Dean being aware of it.

Resonance 'Verse (http://archiveofourown.org/series/69810) - through his growing Bond with Cas, Dean is suddenly able to experience what angels are really like in a way no human has had the ability to before. It's a rather unique take on angels, and there are multiple stories as part of a story arch that might get more time stamps in the future. The later parts do include some Sabriel.
