*comes in waving and giddy*

Hi! I had just read this gorgeous story (here), and the author and I ended up talking about Pooh, which brought the following to mind:

A little while back, someone wrote AWESOME crack fic in the form of Sam + Dean = Winnie the Pooh. I pretty much dislike how people looking for fic here tend to give away the entire plot, so I'm gonna be as vague as possible while still making enough sense that someone gets what I'm looking for!
Sam and Dean and a spell and suddenly, it's Winnie-the-Pooh land. If I recall correctly, Piglet plays an integral part. Bobby and Ellen and Jo may also have been around.

Thank you SO MUCH in advance! I hope someone knows where it is, for there is a rumbly in my tumbly that can only be appeased with honey the fic. *hugs all ya'll*

ETA:
Thank you @ [personal profile] naotalba for finding it! And because I'm one of those who doesn't like seeing "Found in comments", I'll take the time to post it right here! Easy to find! Yay!!! (Wow, rare moments of sweetness from the jelloh. Odd.)

Sorry - nothing to do with your search

Ack! That's my pet peeve too - the obvious giveaway of an ending - if it's under a cut or have a warning beforehand - then that's ok. And yeah - I don't like "found in comments" maybe there's a reason for it - I don't know.

Do you know what's the worst? When they spend the time coding/inserting the html linky type of the names of all the people who found the story for them, but still not tell you what the story is... When I was on pay-as-you-go dial-up - that used to irritate the hell out of me.

I know - which was why I didn't use to be that active in the fandom. Man...I used to cry whenever I get a page loaded with pics - or like you said - flocked pages. Cos of course - every sec wasted meant a larger bill...

Ooo...and another peeve (hee - I take it this must be bitching day) - I think they're called fake lj cuts or whatever. In a comm, someone would put up a post - you'd click on the link, only to find that it opens to the comm post, with the actual link to the story! Whyyyyyy? Why put a link under a cut??? *insert over-dramtic sobbing*

Ahhh...J2 bless broadband.

lol - no no no - you need to snatch their hard-drive!

Oh - you don't post at comms? Anything of yours you can reccommend to me?

Hmm...*tries to think of something else to bitch about* there must be something...

Oh oh oh - I hate wips where you don't know what's going on with the updates, as in when they're updating and suddenly stop. (1)It kills me cos I'm desperate to know what happens (2)Makes me feel guilty cos while I'm bitching about wanting an update, the writer could be dead as far as I know.

So in conclusion, if you say you are going to update soon and don't (without good rl reason) please please let us know you are still alive - don't leave us hanging.

Hee...I actually got that page of you fics up - I just dunno where to start. I might not read the Dean/Sam fics though. Ever since I started reading RPS, I've barely read any Wincest - I never was a huge fan of it anyway - just read it cos I wanted the boy slashing :D

Oh - I love love concrit. And I always try to concrit (not that I am a great expert of writing). However, I always try to be very careful with what I say now as some people take offensive so easily - esp when I didn't say it to be nasty.

Oh oh oh - I absolutely HATE really really badly written stories with loads of reviews - just cos they managed to write an OTT fic where the character is put through abuse after abuse. I mean, yeah - I love the angst and trauma that characters go through, but how can some people ignore the lack of quality and go "OMG!!! i luv this so very muchly. poor Dean. i cant wait til u put he thru more abuse/torture/crying. your a excellent writer."

*GAG*

(My - that was VERY bitchy of me)

Jared pics? Any new Jensen pics to drool over?

WRITE SLOGANS FOR CHEESE

Hey - don't diss it - I'm sure the cheese companies pay good money :D

Oh...I think I know what/who you're talking about. *zips mouth*

OMGWTFPOLARBEAR - *buah ha ha ha* I'm determined to use that somewhere.

Deathfics - I love and loathe them. I'm always saying I will NOT read them, but sometimes I do and then I go all... *cries* Will read both (after I finish reading this 91k fic - eesh - It's taking me all day...)

*sheepish look* actually...I've read some of those kinds of AUs...

Bitching topic no.428937: About those death!fics. I hate those don't give warnings. I know that ruins the suprise and suspense in the fic, but they could at least warn for unhappiness or hide them and give us a choice. For someone who isn't that thrilled about death!fics - its very very painful to get so emotionally invested in a fic and then have their beloved character die in the end.

LOL I did notice that. I was wondering if us talking about it would make you realise - I guess I'd just have to be blunt next time :D

Well you didn't warn for death, but you do warn about sadness/not-goodness - regarding fic - you ev0l ev0l person :(

Now that it's 8th Octber - does that mean no bitching? :(

*pets you*

I've actually never heard of mkv files before so just googled it. Does this post help at all? http://www.moviecodec.com/topics/13049p1.html Briefly looking at it, I think there are free options to convert this file.

Also, reading through the comments, some people can be so rude - which brings me to my rant. I HATE it when people are nasty and accuse you of being lazy when you post help posts and that I am making all these nice people do the work for me. Hello? I did not force these people to help me. I did not ask them to do the work for me, I only asked if they KNOW the answer/solution. The only work they'd have to do is to type a few words - it's a free world - they are completely entitled to NOT help me if they didn't want to. And yet the stupid commenter, takes their time out to read a post they hate and comment on it. Fecker!

Feel free to BITCH away. It's very therapeutic.
