Its funny. I searched for hours and even used key-word searches at AO3 and Fanfic.Net and then I posted this request for assistance thinking, maybe it was on a livejournal and someone would remember it - but hilariously, I found it right after I posted this and it was at Archive of Our Own...

I can't recall where I read it, or who wrote it, or what it was called.
What I recall of it was that it was an AU and it may have been mostly from Sam's P.O.V
Sam doesn't understand what Cas sees in his Sister Deanna and he can't imagine what Deanna sees in Cas, though Cas is a great guy and Sam's best friend.

Deanna and Cas are always breaking up and making up. Deanna is a tough-as-nails take charge kind of girl. But Sam sees his sister as very wild and totally inappropriate however Castiel worships the ground Deanna walks on.

eventually Sam and Cas go to College and Deanna comes to visit them. She gets harassed for being sexy. Also, no one had believed that Castiel had a girl friend, especially someone as wildcat like as Deanna, who of course kicks ass.

any help in locating this fic would be awesome.
