Government finds out about the supernatural

I've been reading elfinblue's brilliant When Worlds Collide, where the top tier of the government is brought into the secret. Can anyone rec me something similar? Anything where the government or some official agency or even the country at large is told/finds out about the supernatural world. Pairings can be gen/het/slash/wincest, etc, and the story can be a crossover with something else. I've already read Unexpected Destinies and Jujuberry136's Criminal Minds crossovers.

if you like NCIS, hunters_retreat has written a few crossover stories. The 'verse is called: SPNCIS (http://hunters-retreat.livejournal.com/tag/verse:%20spncis)

There are mentions of Wincest, slash (UST) and het. Since there are no sex scenes, it might actually fit into the gen category as well. ;)

Defect by Kikkimax - SPN/Criminal Minds crossover. Countdown to deal - (a different person's comments: Dean is charming. The FBI agents sympathize, and Sam works like hell against the ticking clock to save Dean. AU after All Hell Breaks loose; I don't think you have to know Criminal Minds in order to follow this story at all. ( 32525 words) I can vouch for the last comment - I had never seen CM before I read this - in fact, this is the story that started me watching that show. However, strictly speaking it doesn't meet your requirement because the BAU doesn't believe in the supernatural here - but it is pretty necessary to read this if you want to read the sequel(s), which do meet your request - well, part of the BAU becomes enlightened; not all of it. Also, there is a major SPN character Death in the story. It is violent, but it doesn't stick.

And, if you like Stargate SG1 crossovers with SPN, and Castiel - I enjoy these (and while it helps if you're familiar with the Stargate universe, these are pretty AU - I don't think you really need to read the first two stories in the verse (which are pure AU SG1) unless you want to; these two are pretty heavy on the SG1 characters, especially Jack O'Neill. Note -- if you're not familiar with the SG verse - it helps to know they are on a base; they travel through a wormhole; the early big bads were parasitic snakes who burrowed into humans' heads and control (ie., possess) them; and can make the host's eyes glow and talk funny - the big change in this AU (besides it being background Daniel/Teal'c slash) is they've found some friendly gou'alds (snakes)) These are pre-slash for the SPNers but Dean's and Cas' profound bond is in full swing. Sam doesn't get a lot of screen time. The SGC learns about the supernatural in the first story; the second story is a follow up but no new enlightenment - except Castiel goes Angel a Mano with the Kawoosh.

Thanks for the recs! I've watched Criminal Minds, so Kikkimax's fics seem perfect! As for the rest, I know enough about SG1 to enjoy them even though I haven't gotten around to watching the show :)
