Just a heads up, apostrophee/maddys_slash made a post here and here stating that they will be deleting their AO3, Tumblr and LiveJournal accounts tonight.

She doesn't know if she's going to bring them back, so either contact the author for her fics or get them yourselves before they're gone for good.

she didn't say they could *not* be shared (I am assuming this would not include the few she pulled in 2010 with the hope of publication). So share away?

Here is what she wrote (she gave 1 day notice):
"I'm deleting my AO3, Tumblr and Live Journal accounts tonight. Maybe one day I'll bring them back but there's so much going on with my life right now and I need to cut out all distractions if I want to get my goals accomplished. It's been a nice, long road and I'm grateful for all of the people I've met and the experiences shared!

Thanks for sticking with me! Hopefully our paths will cross again."

Also, re podfic: "Also, I hearby officially provide Blanket Permission for podfic of any of my stories, with the exception of any story that has been removed (but if you ask, I'll probably send you a copy and let you do it anyway lol). Please just drop me a line when you upload, so I can kiss your face."

So do you think that means it's shareable?
I grabbed html files of all the J2 I could find there and on her AO3. I think I nabbed a few bookmarked stories, not just her stories LOL! * What, I was in a rush * LOL

Anyway, it's raw, but it's all the J2 she had * hugs her writing and keeps it close *
If anyone learns that she doesn't want them shared or better yet, provided word docs of PDFs of same, let me know and I'll delete this post.

You're most welcome. I wish I had time to turn them into word files and pdfs, but I'm just slammed at work right now.
She's such a good author I hope we see here here again. : )

Thank you meus_venator for sharing the HTML files of maddys_slash's fics.

I cannot read the SPN fics once I open the files. I get a quick glimpse of text regarding the fic
before the LJ deleted journal message fills the full screen. What could be preventing me from
viewing the fic files. I am using Firefox browser and everything is updated. I would appreciate
any help as I had her fics bookmarked to read at a later date and had not yet done so.

I'm not sure what is going on. You downloaded the files?

After downloading, when I take any one of the html files in the folder and drag and drop them over a firefox window the page loads fine. It takes a little bit of time, but it even has the graphics and comments. It can't link to other pages like a real web page, but the text is all there.
Not sure what to say, you need someone technical : ) Sorry.

Thank you meus_venator. I followed your suggestion for dragging/dropping the file
in another window which did allow me to view apostrophee / maddy-slash's fics.
