Fic to loose yourself in

Evening all,

As tomorrow is the first day of winter here down under, I'm looking for some good long fic that I can curl up in front of the fire and loose myself in.

Not too fussed what it's about or pairings (except no wincest please) just something that will drag me along for the ride, be that adventure, romance or mystery. Nothing too angesty though and if the stories you rec could be over 30 000 words that would be brilliant, I tend to devour fic and I've already been through spn_j2_bigbang.

Bonus points for three or moresomes as well as gen and wing!fic is always welcome. I'm also always on the lookout for good crossovers with the following:
-Star Gate
-Star Trek
-Buffy
-Doctor Who
-Firefly
-Farscape
-Fullmetal Alchemist

Such a wonderfully written AU, unbelievably sad and scary and beautiful. I LOVE this. Makes you cry and wish and PINE for such love. It's really long, and absolutely drown-in-worthy. A bit angsty, especially the first part. But.. I'd say it's worth it!

Awesome spy-AU with a great plot and yay, original characters! Long and at times a bit lengthy, but definitely worth the read. Long too.

Most awesome case-fic, twisty and delightful, makes you doubt, believe, re-doubt and want to believe so hard... Just damn good!

Don't know what you think about kids in fics?
I really love Disclaimer (http://raeschae.livejournal.com/4943.html#cutid1), which is a verse so there are many timestamps to have fun with: Jared and Jensen are willing to do almost anything to help their friends. Almost. But what Chris is asking of them this time? It's the one thing they both swore they'd never do: Grow up.

I was searching high and low for the way the relationship of two men is handled. This is what my pickiness loved more than all the others. Fantastic manly gay men. Love this!

I do tend to shy away from J2 as in my head it gets a little too close to AU wincest for comfort. But I do read the odd one when recced so well, therefore I shan't be ignoring it.
