Hey! I'm wondering if someone can recommend some good stories involving Sam or Dean being brain damaged. I've already read Death's Other Kingdom by Faye Dartmouth and I'm just wondering if there's any more out there - especially one involving Dean.

There's one that's in progress right now over at ff.net. It's not done yet, so I don't know how bad the damage, but it's good. It's about Sam. There's was a question awhile back (no idea how long ago) in this community that asked for a story like that. Anyways, the story:

Here's a story featuring a brain damaged Dean (he thinks he's 9 years old). It's still WIP and the later chapters has actually veered more toward the supernatural than dealing with Dean's brain damage so I'm waiting to see where it goes. But those first few chapters really deal with Sam's new role - taking care of Dean. It's called "Looking Back".
