Non-specific J2, Wincest fics

Okay, people, here's the deal.

You know when you first started reading Wincest and/or J2, and you found a few stories that were good and you wanted to keep reading? But then you found one story that just made you absolutely and irrevocably fall in love with the pairing? That's what I want!

So, tell me, what stories made you fall in love with the pairing of J2 or Wincest?

Bonus points if the fics are first time stories. I'm cool with fics of various lengths, also. Just give me whatever fics you see fit, and I'll be happy!

The only things that I don't wish to be included are mPreg and BDSM. I'm pretty vanilla when it comes to my J2 and Wincest.

Wow! So cool when I can rec the same fic series twice in one day...

This is the fic that did it for me: Stumbling Across Its Bleak Ending (http://esorlehcar.livejournal.com/369920.html) and, of course, it's companion piece, Practical Men of the World (http://esorlehcar.livejournal.com/372671.html). Takes place right after Devil's Trap. I still cry every time I read it.

If you have the time, I'd read everything in this 'verse. SO good!

For a long time, I tried really hard to read Wincest. I love man on man sex and I also love Dean and Sam Winchester, and to combine that together sounds like my greatest fantasy -- Winchester on Winchester sex. Except that when I read it, it was like...nothing. I didn't get it, didn't feel the pairing, didn't see what I had pictured in my head at all. So I gave up on it and turned to J2 land, a warm and cozy place I will forever reside.

Still, part of me has always wanted to ship Wincest. So, when I began reading Stumbling Across Its Bleak Ending, I was hesitant. But this fic was different. I felt something, definitely more than the nothing I'd felt previously with Wincest. And it wasn't OH GOD WINCEST SO HOT WANT TO TOUCH THE HEINY. It was just, hey, yeah, I can see that. So I kept reading, and I really enjoyed it. And I'm glad that I did because, even though I'll never be able to fully ship Wincest, it's nice to know that I've found at least one fic that is my perfect version of the ship. So thanks for recommending it to me.
