Deleted Journals and Fics

I'm not trying to be a pain, but .  .  .

a lot of talented writers have been deleting their journals or their fics have just vanished, which breaks my heart into millions of pieces. Considering I never got to read a lot of them, or I never got to finish reading. . . 

I heard good things, which only makes me want to read them more. So please if anyone could help me out with links to the stories, or if  the writer does not wish for their stories to be shared could some on e-mail me what they have saved? I swear I wont redistribute them, I just like to read. . . It would be greatly appreciated, thank you kindly in advance.

Out of curiosity, I checked miss_begonia, and isn't she active and posting? Her journal says her stories are friends only, but she's happy to add back.

I can see how that You don't have permission to access ... on this server. message you receive when following a direct link to the story may give the impression the journal's been purged, though.

Except that she has removed a couple of her stories because she's developing them into original fiction - What a Good Boy is one of those. So yeah, you can friend her for what's still available, but some of it is gone.

wow, what an incredibly shitty thing to do. i know for a fact miss_begonia wouldn't want that fic to be spread around (she took it down for a reason!) and i'm sure some of these other authors wouldn't appreciate having their property distributed without their consent. just because they don't own the characters, doesn't mean the words aren't all theirs to do with as they please, including take down and remove from public consumption.

Most of the shared stories were cached pages of them, which means they were still available to the public. Authors have the option of not having their stories saved as cache pages, so if they didn't want them to still be available they could have done that. Also, once things are posted online there are no take backs, so they should have thought of that before they posted them online.
