Looking for a SPN gen fic set pre-series

Alright, so a while ago. I read this story that I can’t seem to find no matter how many google searches I do.

It was a gen fic, and it had John, Dean, and Sam set pre-series. I’m really hazy on the details, but I know that in the fic they were working, and Dean and Sam both fall through the floor, and are seriously hurt. Sam’s impaled on something I believe, and Dean has a head injury. They get to the hostile and they are both in really bad shape (if I remember correctly Dean’s in a coma and Sam isn’t much better), and John I think, goes to the chapel, and makes a deal with God (or something of the sort) and in the end both Dean and Sam are fine.

I realize that this isn't the best description but I’m at the end of my rope, so any help at all would be wonderful. :)

It's the last chapter in the series Lessons in Mortality and has John and the brothers checking out an old house and Sam and Dean fall through the floor. I had to go looking through my bookmarks but I found it, lol. Anywho I hope this is what your looking for!
