jensen/jared - general fic request centered around protective!Jensen

Just finished re-reading WE WERE HERE (by justthismorning) for the umpteenth time - one of the most poignant fics in the fandom. Recs for similar? where Jensen protects an abused or disabled or traumatized Jared, preferably when they are both young. Stories where the strength of the bond and the trust and tenderness just overwhelm you. (Similar to STARS FALL IN and US AGAINST THE WORLD, two more deeply touching stories, although those are more protective!Jared.)

Can be an established relationship or newly-met. Could also be Sam/Dean, but maybe where they aren't brothers? As always, deeply grateful for this community's perspicacity.

Jensen turned into a strong/powerful Alpha Were - FOUND

This community has been extremely helpful in the past and I hope it will be again.

I have been searching for a specific fic that has Jensen being turned into a Were and he turns out to be really strong/powerful and not at all like they expected him to be. He is strong right at the start and can shift (or partially shift) before he should be able to. I know the story is J2 and I think Christian and Chad are in it along with JDM and Jim Beaver. The only scene I can really remember is that Jensen goes into a house (I think it was a pack house) and he starts to go a little feral because of the Alpha thats in there. I believe Jim Beaver was the Alpha. It took a couple of the guys to subdue him but ultimately I think Jared talked him down.

That's all I can remember. I thought it was the story. "The Thaw" (which I really love) but its not and honestly, I don't know if I'm mixing part of that story up with the one I'm looking for that has the scene I described.

I would truly appreciate any help in finding that story.

I would also love any recommendations on any similar stories where Jensen turns out to be something other than what was expected (leaning, of course, to the better).

Alpha/Jensen Omega/Jared: Found

Hi All,

Looking for a fic where Jensen is either a senator or is running for senate and Jared is an omega rights activist. Jensen and/or his dad are against the omega rights and Jensen agrees to a debate on TV. Jensen has Osric switches Jared's suppressants and goes into heat on TV and Jensen claims him right there. I don't think there was any MPREG in this fic. Also I think it was also a chaptered fic, though it could be a multi one shot verse type.

I have read this fic some time ago. Its a long fic with Dean having schizophrenia(?) He was made to believe that the whole hunting life that he had with Sam and the others was all in his imagination. Turned out that he was placed there by some bad people. I cant remember who helped him escaped but he was reunited with Sam, Bobby and the other hunters. They convinced him that it was all real. There was a lot of angst and hurt/comfort. I have tried searching to no avail. I really hope I can read this fic again as it was very good. Your help is very much appreciated.
