Hello again! 

So there's this fic I remember reading a while back and now have the urge to re-read.  I remember that the fic started off with Cas running heaven and being really sad because he missed Dean, and Dean being sad because he missed Cas.  Gabriel wound up being brought back and working under Cas (I'm pretty sure his partner was a cupid).  I also remember Becky being the "virgin Becky" and I'm pretty sure she started dating Lisa.  The other pairings I remember were Dean/Cas and Sam/Gabriel.  Also, the two guys from "The Real Ghostbusters" were in it, and Chuck was God.

Also, I've recently discovered a love for Chad Michael Murrey/Christian Kane fics.  Bonus points if there is J2 as well.

What I'm really craving is some of the old cliches - trapped together somewhere, huddling to stay warm - trying to avoid hypothermia, cabin fic, etc. Bonus points if Cas has lost his powers or for some reason is unable to use his angel mojo to get them out of trouble.

Could you kindly direct me towards any fic where John is supportive of Wincest, or flat-out demands it? (i.e. allowing the boys to have sex with each other, but only each other, as there is no telling whether or not other partners could actually turn out to be demons.) I'd prefer works where John is ''responsible'' for Wincest, not fics where he simply finds out about it and approves.

Adam somehow being involved would make my day, but no actual sexual involvement on John's part (aka daddycest), please.

Hello excellent fic-finding people!  I've got two general searches today that I'm hoping you can help me with.

I just read 300 Things by cautionzombies, and now I'm looking for other fics like it.  That is, Dean/Castiel non-hunter AUs in which Dean essentially raised/is raising Sam, either because John's dead or just a dead-beat.  I really want something where Dean is struggling- as a young adult trying to raise and support a younger sibling would probably do- is stressed out, overworked, and really struggling to makes ends meet and keep it together.

 

My second search is for any fics in which Sam has/develops empathy or something like it and uses it to feeeeel Dean's feeeeeeelings and thus finds out that Dean pretty much feels constant depression/self-loathing.  Preferably something that takes place prior to season 4 when it became so obvious that no one needed empathy (or even, you know, hearing or vision) to comprehend Dean's angst.  Slash or Gen is fine.

Any help is appreciated, self recs are fine!

Crack, Comedy, and Feel-Good

Look - a friend of mine has been having a very hard time lately. I'm trying to get some fic together as a feel-good present. To those ends, I'd like to send out a request for fluffy, crackish endings, for happily-ever-afters, for those little stories that leave you smiling happily all day.

Specific requests:

1. Animal transformations - who doesn't giggle at those?

2. REALLY good Dean/Castiel fics.

3. The creme-de-la-creme of Sam/Gabriel.

Though really, anything comedy, anything that makes you crack a smile would be gold.

Specific Fic: Preseries College Sam & Dean

Sorry for the vague details, but I hope someone recognizes this. I think it was a rather long fic, maybe even a Big Bang story.

I don't remember how they meet, but the plot is that Sam and Dean want to be together but Sam is underage. They decide to wait until Sam finishes college (not sure if it was Stanford) before they move the relationship to the next level. S&D move so that Sam can start his schooling, but the place they find is a couple of hours away from Sam's school. Dean finds a job and lives in a succession of motels till he finally finds them a small apartment. Sam comes to visit when he can and they have summers together. When they're together, they struggle not to go to "third base" as they vowed. I remember one scene when Sam comes back to visit Dean, Dean is struck by the changes to Sam's physique - how he's changing from teenager to mature man in a few short months.

I'm not 100% sure if they know they're brothers at first, but maybe this fact comes up later in the story. I don't think they were hunters in this story.

Another God!Bobby story?

I'm looking for another one, which I haven't been able to find though Google or Delicious or in the group archives.

And I really don't remember much about it but the punchline, so spoilers are inevitable.

God has been missing, and the angels are restless; turns out that God needed a vacation and took it as Bobby Singer. It's sort of, was one human lifetime so much to ask? I think Castiel was the one who found him, but I'm not sure.

And yes, there was a previous search on a similar topic, but the story I'm looking for is not chasingtides's Not an Ounce of Peace, which was the only response to the previous search; I'm pretty sure the story I'm looking for is much shorter, probably a one-shot, maybe even just a ficlet. Also there's no apocalypse in it . . . Oh, also I think this was Gen, although I'm bifictional so it might not've been.

So. Any ideas?
