Heya! I totally forgot to bookmark it. *stupid girl* Maybe anyone of you can help me out? The story picks up right after "When The Levee Breaks". Dean is on the ground and Castiel is coming to warn him,  something like that. Last thing I can remember, that Cas helps him to stand up, because Dean is nearly keeling over. And I guess first it was kinda Dean's POV - after Sam closed the door he had trouble breathing and passed out. The writing sytle was really well and eeeep.... I can't find it anymore. o.O Help, pleaaaase? FOUND IN COMMENTS! :)

Civil war ghosts and such cases

I searched several sides back now, but didn't really find much of what I search for. I am on sort of a history trip and would love you to recommend some SPN stories (I guess you can call it case!fics but I take every pairing, rating or whatever there is) that include any kind of civil war theme. Haunted battlefields, ghosts,... whatever comes to mind, and in a wonderful fandom like SPN there has to be something.

Looking for Sam/Dean curse/charmed fic

Hi!  First time posting here...

I'm looking for a fic where Sam and Dean are cursed or something...  They're wondering why people keep looking at them strangely - they don't realize that they keep touching each other.  Anyway, they go to see Bobby and he's looking at them strangely too - they call him up on it and he says something to the effect that Dean has his hand on Sam's leg or something - then they realize what he's talking about.

 I want to say I read this fairly recently, like within the last month or two. In order to score extras for their first aid kit, the both stab each other a la "Scream" style, except Sam accidentally goes too deep when he stabs Dean.

Hi all, my friend just finished watching the series The Black Donnelly's about 4 Irish-American brothers in New York, that are a part of the Irish Mob and fighting against the Italian Mob.  After watching it she really wanted to read a J2 that is based on the series and since she doesn't know how to post to this community she asked if I could do it.  If anyone knows about any fics out there that are similar to the show she would really appreciate it if you passed them on to us.

*  The writer of the first one, is called "You Turn the Jaded into New" by fiesty red.   She has since left LJ and removed her fics, but if you check in comments, other writers have offered to email a copy of this most excellent unfinished WIP.

* The second WIP is called "He's Not There", by  thirteen_10 
So far, there are six chapters, the last update being May 2009.  IMO, this is an AU Jensen at his most beautifully raw.

I lost touch with two excellent AU fics and can't find the authors (damn and blast my stupidity in not tracking them!).

*~  The first fic features Jensen as a sweet, troubled young man whose only family are two abusive step brothers after his mother passes away, and the knowledge that they will probably kill him for his meager inheritence.  He ends up leaving town to start fresh, even though he's extremely introverted and has never been on his own before.  He ends up getting a job as a mechanic at a shop owned by Jared,  and is soon adopted by the other employees, Meg and Kane.  Beautiful love story ensues...

* ~ The second fic is another AU, with Jensen as a widdower, and former cop turned private dick...He feels lost and empty, but when he meets Jared, a young hooker, something changes.  Wonderful imagery and angst so thick you could cut it with a knife...

Seeking Humor (but, uh, without incest or real people, please)

As someone who isn't a fan of incest or RPS, I've been steering clear of the SPN fandom since, well, ever.  However, I've been recently sucked in thanks to Dean/Castiel and the hilarious 90 Proof series (of which there is apparently another one!  Awesome:) and am now seeking recs.  Specifically, humor recs.

Some guidelines:
-No wincest or J2, please -- people have tried to convert me before and it just is not my cup of tea (and the repeated conversion attempts are one of the reasons why it's taken me four years to make a serious attempt to get into the fandom).

-Other than that, though, anything goes: femmeslash, gen, het, slash, genderfuck -- if it's been written, I'm up for reading it.

-And, of course, I'm seeking the humor!  Or crack!  Or anything that will make me laugh, or at least smile really big.

-(Also, completed fics, please, though funny fics in this fandom are apparently fairly short, so that probably isn't much of an issue).

LF Premature Dean

The fic I'm looking for I can only remember the begining.  I'm pretty sure it takes place during 'In My Time of Dying'. John is sitting watching Dean in the coma. A nurse comes in and John starts to tell her how much of a fighter Dean is. That the first time he saw Dean, he looked a lot like he does now because he was born premature and was attached to similar equipment to keep him alive.

I'm looking for that one specifically, but any other stories that mention, or are about Dean premature would be welcome too. It would be cool if Sam never knew, but finds out somehow.

Whumpage!

Hey guys, since you tend to be so helpful here, I was wondering if I could get some genre recs.

See, I want some really horrible angsty whumpage with lots and lots of comfort smoothed on top. I like graphic violence and torture, but they aren't necessary.

I prefer J2 for this, with whumped!Jensen, but, you know what? Anything else works too, as long as you get all the angst with lots of hugging and fixing from the non-whumped boy and a happy ending. Um, I prefer Sam/Dean or J2 as the main pairing, but don't mind terribly having Castiel or Misha with either of the boys. However, please fics of "R" or equivalent rating or higher. (And if the author says PG 13 but it's not really, that's okay too!)

Uh, I don't imagine this fandom has a terrible great overlap with "The Sentinel" (though some must exist, I'm sure) but I do know that fandom is addicted to the kinds of stories I like (poor Blair!)-- I just don't want to move over there because I'm in the middle of writing a SPN fic and don't want to abandon my coauthor. I tend to phase through fandoms but stick with one at a time.

So any help you can give me would be awesome!

Parental Dean and Rock, Paper, Scissors

So I just read 'The Art of Balance' after someone searched for it here a few days ago, and now I'm in the mood for other Dean raising Sammy fics.  Not so much with Dean just taking care of him, because I know there are tons of those out there, but actual Dean-is-Sam's-guardian type things.  Either Dean having custody, or him raising Sam after John leaves...   and are there any fics where Dean is the one who leaves for college at 18 but takes Sam with him?  (Cause there really, really should be.)

I'm also looking for a specific fic that I forgot to bookmark, in which Sam (being kind of slow) finally realises that Dean has been purposefully losing at rock, paper, scissors for years as a way of making sure Sam gets what he wants or doesn't do the more dangerous jobs without actually having to say anything.  FOUND - Link in comments.

Sorry if i repost again this message but I checked all the messages posted in July in SPN Stoy finders and I don't succeed to find those fics and it's really absurd, maybe it's because it's so hot in Rome that my brain is a bit lost.
the stories are the same that I have requested some days ago and one more.

1#  in this fic the 'culprit' were ghost dogs used in illegal fights and Dean meet and bond immediatly with a girl with a red jacket and three dogs.  Dean is also mauled from a dog, then, with Sam, they go to a kennel and a barman to investigate. The victims are the gamblers. 

2#  Dean running along a river, hurt, confused, escaped from a barn or a cabin where he was prisoner. An old man fisher and a priest (?) find him and take with them to cure him, then...I don't know more

3#  Dean and Sam goes to investigate in a junior school where theirselves were student. The ghost is the janitor and he used to molest little boys, and Dean remember to be one of them

4# Dean succeed to go out to the hell after a long and dangerous escape. He is alone, in a sort of desert, i think, and he try to understand if all it's real or just imaging. He search to stay hide since he find a corpse and then a cell which he use to call Bobby that arrive with Sam and.... 



I think that the right tags could to be: gen; casefic; hurt/dean; molested/dean
