Parallel Universe, Mental Institutes and Action ...

Well, it's me again - printing up some fics to read over Christmas when my family starts driving me nuts.  Ha!  Anyhow, I have a couple of requests:

1. I think this one is kind of a parallel universe fic where Dean is thrown into another dimension where he actually died as a baby. Sam was raised by John alone, who was drunken and abusive and Sam turned into an addict because of it, but despite all that he couldn't hate John because "he was my dad."  Sound familiar to anyone? Found!  Link in comments.
   
2. Moths on the Mirror by fleshflutter was an awesome read, but it seemed a bit familiar to me - I think I read another fic where Dean is stuck in a mental institute and Sam has to get him out.  It was older, if that helps any.
3. I'd love some gen fics with some kick-ass action ... I requested some here but if anyone has any other recs, I'd love to hear about them.

Phantisma's Ages has Dean stuck in a mental hospital but that is only a small part of the story. It is wincest and starts with Dean at 12.
