Dean without Sam

Hello guys,

Are there fics in which Dean learns to deal with Sam's absence? In which he's more than bummed but makes his peace with it (whether it's explicitly mentioned or not) and keeps hunting, with or without his dad? Better yet, Dean's first solo hunt?

Minimal amount of explicit angst preferred (who am I kidding? I love angst, so bring it on), whumpage adored, casefics will be petted and named George. Self-recs and any kind of recs welcome :D

Dude. You wanted angst and whumpage? These two are it. It's Dean learning to be Dean without the 'nSam part and they're both two well-written, case!fic style stories with actual plots and everything.
