What's up, you beautiful people? I have one hell of a story hunt for you. Back in my youth, I read a pretty awesome story in which Kali resurrected Gabriel in the first chapter/prologue, and he traveled through time to get to the present day (not sure why?), and save Sam from almost being dragged downstairs by Lucifer. Also some Destiel somewhere, I think, but the Sam and Gabriel pairing was what stuck out the most. I don't even have an inkling what the story could be called, but I think it may have been on LJ on some point. Does anyone else remember reading this story? Searching for it is ruining me.

specific Sam/Dean fic - Thanksgiving?

Does anyone remember the name of a Sam/Dean fic that included Dean making high-school Sam Thanksgiving Dinner as a surprise?

What I remember: Sam was in high school, with friends - UST between Sam and Dean - They were staying in a house for once - John was not there - Sam had made plans to go over to a friend's house for Thanksgiving, but when he came downstairs that morning, Dean was cooking a traditional dinner. I want to say that Dean helped Sam tie his necktie and insisted he go with his friends - but in a minute Sam came back inside to help Dean with dinner, instead of going with his friends.

There might have been snow. Or not.

Help is much appreciated. I'm sure I possess this story, but I can't remember the title or even the main plot.

J2 or Wincest, insecure of the way they look

I'm looking for fics where Dean or Sam or Jensen or Jared feels insecure about the way they look and the other comforts him, reassures him. Like, maybe they recently have gained weight or have some scars or wrinkles. I don't want it so be a long story (not more than 15k). Also, I found some stuff like that but it was always the very extreme (getting super super fat, Sam stuffing Dean with food for him to be fat etc) and I don't want anything like that. Wincest, J2, Gen.

mentally challenged sam or jared

All I remember about the fic is that either sam or jared were mentally challenged and that they ended up going to court vs. their father , and during the trial is stated that if their father didn't keep them in a simple mindset that they would have been able to have been mentally competent for their age and have had a normal life. I think it was J2 or Sam/Dean but no incest!!!
