Just to add I'm reading Unexpected Destinies at the moment, it's excellent, a really gripping story which explores and develops the bond between Dean and Castiel. It's very long - I'm on Chapter 168! - but the chapters are fairly short. Very interesting dynamics between Dean, Cas, Michael and Raphael. Be warned that Sam and Dean are almost estranged for much of the fic, in case you don't like that.
