I'm looking for the fic LOUDER THAN WORDS.
In it Jensen was deaf, going out with David Boreanaz, Jared was David's best friend and was mad at him for not telling him "Jenny'" was a man. Th fic changed to J2. Jensen was having some kind of attack that was the cause of his deafness.
