Hi, me again! I have been going crazy trying to find this story and Google has been no help.

I remember that Jared and Sandy are together and they're engaged but Jared isn't really making any definite plans about a date for the wedding and such. I think Jensen actually asks Jared when he's going to step up and marry Sandy, and I think Jared's a little shocked that Jensen's saying this. It's possible they were in a bar and Jensen was tipsy. At one point, a really sad point, Jared comes home to find that Sadie has passed away. He calls Jensen and I clearly remember him specifically saying, "My dog's dead." Jensen is silent and says that he'll be right over. They bury Sadie and Jared finally cries. I also remember that there was this overall feeling in the story that Jensen was in love with Jared. I'm pretty sure Jared knew as well, but nothing is actually said until the end of the story. Near the end, Jensen meets Jared in a diner/restaurant and Jensen reveals that he was once engaged to this girl, before he moved to LA. His heart was broken (I think) and Jared tries to get Jensen to say that he's in love with Jared. Jared's saying stuff like, "Pretend I'm not me," and Jensen's like, "You are you." Jensen finally says something like, if everything was different and you weren't you, I would tell you I'm in love with you and he walks out. At this point I'm pretty sure Jared and Sandy have broken up because Sandy can't love Jared enough, or something. I remember at the end Jensen is at Jared's house and they go outside and Jensen jumps on Jared's back and Jared's like, you really love me and they just lie on the grass together.

This is a lot and very jumbled but I hope someone knows what I'm talking about. Thank you!
