young Sam and Dean save civilians

My mind kind of wandered and expanded my request before I put aside what I was doing to get to the computers. My first idea to search for was what if CPS caught up with John and took the kids, putting them in foster care or a group or foster home. The goulies or monsters find them and Dean and Sam have to use their ingenuity and what John had taught them to protect not only themselves but any other child or adult with them.

I then recalled the story 'Airport Madness' by Dragonfan/Steamfan (at Twisting the Hellmouth and fanfiction.net) where a young Dean and Sam are stranded when a blizzard shuts down the Chicago airport on their way to Pastor Jim's. They're targeted by some sort of shifter and have to defeat it while keeping the little girl named Willow (BtVS) they met on the plane and the nun, Sister Steve (Father Dowling), Jim sent to pick them up from harm until the CPD Officer Kowalski (dS) finds them.

So I thought to expand the criteria to not just foster families or CPS in jeopardy, but any civilian around when the boys are targeted by the beasties when John or another hunter isn't around.
