AU fic search

Hi folks, I'm looking for a specific story. And since I don't know all the rules yet, I'll post it under a cut just in case.

The fic I'm looking for is AU. It's a story where Mary didn't actually die on the ceiling, she lived and had burns. And it's snapshots of how she fights demons with John and watches her boys grow up. I remember a specific scene where Sam takes a girl home with him from school and she's different. I think she has scars or something? I can't remember. And the girl's mom calls Mary and thanks her. This ringing any bells?
