Protective!boys & hurt!boys / Dean&John during Stanford-era

#1 I´m in dire need of some comfort-fics.
Please rec me anything where either Sam or Dean (or both) are reeeally protective of each other. Hurt!Dean and/or hurt!Sam is an added bonus. Long, plotty and casefics would be great but anything short is fine, too. Gen is preferred but wincest (or any other pairing) is fine as long as the focus is on the boys and their close relationship. No death-fics please.

# 2 And I search for a specific type of fic that deal with Deans and Johns relationship while Sam is in Stanford: I always come across rather dark and depressing stuff - are there any fics at all where Dean and John actually grow closer instead of falling apart? Brownie points for hurt!Dean and John not being a bastard but actually caring about him (and preferably showing it).
Gen is absoutely prefered but I think, I´d take Daddycest if it´s really well-written.
