Hi, I've recently found a post with links to a series of very dark stories by an LJ user named Verayne that sound like some I read years ago, and have been searching for again recently. The only problem is the journal has been purged/deleted, so I was wondering if anyone knew if the author had either started anew somewhere, or if anybody had saved copies of the fic that they'd be able to share? The titles I can find for the broken links are Playing Favourites, Making Use and Boredom.

Hi guys

I've been looking for this fic everywhere.
Cant remember is it was Jared/Jensen or Sam/Dean. Pretty sure it was Sam/Dean. Dean watches over Sam as he grows and only Sam can see him. Over the years Sam drifts from Dean as he gets friends and in College Sam sends Dean away but by doing so Dean becomes a real person.

Any one know what this might be

I don't remember much but I think the boys were in college. And I also think they were roommates. But what I do remember was dean bottomed because it hurt cas when he did. I remember them breaking up or taking a break and cas started dating someone else and was forced to bottom because of someone else wouldn't do it.

I remember most details of this fic but my Google skills are clearly crap since I haven't been able to find it. *sighs*

The fic starts with soldier!Jensen returning home from tour. He's standing in front of his and Jared's house, contemplating some things (I don't quite remember what). When he goes inside, he sees his daughter. He hasn't seen her since she was a little baby and since she is now around four years old, he regrets his job because his daughter doesn't recognize him. Instead, she calls out for Jared.
When Jared comes into the kitchen, they have a semi-sappy reunion and Jared picks up their daughter. All of a sudden, their daughter launches herself into Jensen's arms. I think Jared had said something about her talking to Jensen's picture every night? Not quite sure on that part.
