Hello, I am trying to find a fic that I read a long time ago, and can't find now. In it Dean found out that he was a father, so him and Sam went to go get his son Danny? But the mother was a real piece of work, she had abused the boy since day one, locked him in a room, bathed him in boiling water, left him in dirty diapers, ect.
Sam and Dean take the boy and Sam uses his powers to make the mother think she is still doing it, or that she killed him or something and she freaks out and turns herself in.

I can remember almost everything about this story, except who wrote it or where to find it.

searching for death cure fic

I am searching for a fic where Sam is trying to bring Dean back to life with a ritual. The ritual requires Sam to give up all types of communication for 3 (?) years. As a result he is viewed as strange/crazy/loner type of person.

the first year he gets Deans body back, second year Dean's body becomes animated but doesn't have "him" in it, and third year Dean resides in his body but doesn't know why Sam won't talk to him.

anyone know what story this is?
