I'm looking for a fic I read a few months ago. Dean takes off one night, leaving Sam & his amulet behind. Dean wanders for a long time, changing his apperance, changing cars & his name. Sam uses Dean's amulet to track him, at the start going to Missouri to help him develop his psychic abilities to connect with Dean.

In the end, Dean is tired, worn down & depressed & plans his suicide, but Sam finds him in the knick of time, being drawn to Dean's intense emotional pain. Can't remember if it was gen or wincest, but I'm pretty sure it was gen.
