"Not All There"/Disabled Sam and Caretaker Dean

Hi!

I'm interested in reading stories where Sam either has a permanent injury or he is mentally/emotionally damaged from his time in Hell, an accident, kidnapping, etc. Dean, of course, is his caretaker, which means the two of them would have to retire from hunting and find a stable place to stay. I would love to read a story where Dean has to find a legit job to take care of himself and Sam.

This isn't exactly what you requested, but it's the first thing I thought of and is a beautiful story.. It's Cas, Dean and Sam living together (it's gen) in an apartment, told from a mostly-human Cas' POV. Injured Dean cares for a hell-traumatized Sam, while Cas works in a fast food restaurant to support them all:

Don't Let Me Be Lonely (http://roque-clasique.livejournal.com/125247.html) by roque_clasique has awesome brain-damaged Sam (who is still all there; the repercussions are mostly physical) and the most incredible Dean-voice and Dean point of view you've ever seen. If you haven't read it before, I recommend running with all possible haste.
