Fics set in a circus
I was watching Cirque du Soleil and I wonder - are there any fics set in a circus? Like SPN AUs, J2 AUs or simply fics with cases in a circus?
Any pairing (or gen stories) is fine, although I prefer Wincest/J2.
(for mods - sorry, I think the first time I posted this I forgot the subject!)

(Anonymous) 2014-12-27 04:55 am (UTC)(link)This is sam/gabriel but the focus is not just on them at all. It's not complete, but it's very good, if also very weird.

Title: Vesti la Giubba
Fandom: Real Person Fiction: CW
Characters/Pairings: Jared/Jensen
Rating: NC-17 for Explicit Sexual Content and Language
Word Count: 26,747
Summary: Tartarus is not the first circus Jensen's worked, but it's certainly the creepiest. After months without work, Jensen's not really in the place to be picky, so he takes the contortionist job he's offered and rolls with it. The people aren't bad at least, and the ringleader, Jared, is as hot as he is mysterious. Jensen won't complain about a job that feeds him and gets him laid regularly, and it's not like curses are real, anyway.
That Daring Young Man Master Post (J2 RPS AU, NC-17) (http://tsuki-no-bara.livejournal.com/1574781.html)
Title: That Daring Young Man
Genre/Pairing: J2 RPS AU
Rating: NC-17
Word count: 29,700
Warnings: Potentially anachronistic dialogue. Non-CW actors. Bad hedgehog jokes.
Disclaimer: Lies, all lies. The people are real. The plot, not so much.
Summary: In 1937, Jared loses his job and runs away from home to join the circus. He's not a performer so he finds work as a roustabout, putting up and pulling down the big top as the circus rolls through town after town. It's hard work but he likes the people, and the traveling circus itself has fired his imagination since he was ten, with its sideshow acts and animal acts and big top performers, and especially now its aerialists, in particular a talented, good-looking trapeze artist named Jensen.
