Found. 2 types of stories; hunters are known, sentinels are known

Like it says, I'm looking for two types of stories.

The first is stories where the general populace knows about hunters. And the second - I am a sucker for Sentinels-are-known stories and I would love to find more, especially if Sam or Dean were the Sentinels or guide. I've read the one where Dean is kept a prisoner and loaned out to different sentinels, and I do not want that. I've also read 'Fear the Sunless Lands' (where hunters are known) and I really enjoyed it. ( http://spn-j2-bigbang.livejournal.com/318370.html ), so creatures are okay.

SPN pairings I like to read are Sam/Dean, Dean/Cas, Jared/Jensen, Jensen/Chris, or any of the guys with a well written OMC or character from another show - fusions and crossovers are welcome.

I know I'm being picky, but I can't read stories where one of the sexual partners is under 17, stories where slavery is institutionalized (a recognized and accepted part of society), or where the power ratio in the story is heavily skewed toward one partner. Please, no A/B/O stories in which a character is substantially changed (other than the Sentinel/Guide aspects), where the Omega partner loses their rights and/or becomes the property of the alpha, or makes a 180 degree turn and gives up all their hopes and dreams to suddenly become a baby factory and/or housewife

I know that seems like a lot, but I'm really just hoping there are some out there that I haven't been able to find. Longer is better, I prefer higher ratings but just about anything found in these categories will be welcome and celebrated.

I was just about to rec about 6 or 7 fics when I read the part about you wanting no A/B/O and/or slavery, so I couldn't rec those because I haven't finished reading them so I'm not sure.

This one: Cry Wolf by morgan (http://archiveofourown.org/series/12924) is one that I've not finished reading yet, but Morgan is an awesome writer. This is set about the time of Season 1 for Supernatural, so no underage. It's a casefic. And I don't believe it's slavery and/or A/B/O.

Again, I haven't finished it yet, so I apologize if it's not what you were looking for.

I'd be happy to, but since I didn't like it I, um, didn't bookmark it. I can give you more details. Dean's an empath, but he went rogue, I think, and so he's kept at a facility. Sentinels want him because he's so strong but they aren't allowed to bond with him. Part of the deal is that they have to taser (I think - some kind of painful thing) him every day to make sure no bond is formed. I know he works with Gibbs (NCIS) at one point (Gibbs is a low-level Sentinel and Dean makes him much more powerful) and in another part of the story I think he works with Aaron Hotchner (Criminal Minds). That's all I remember, except maybe Sam was trying to break him out, but it was a long process? I had to quit reading, because I thought (imho) that men like Gibbs and Hotch wouldn't accept any kind of slavery amd the fact that they did just made them wildly ooc, to me. Ymmd.

Have read the storys not long ago. I can totally understand what you mean. I´ve hate the 1.+2. story sometimes, but you should read the 3. story too. It is going to be better. Promise!!!

Okay, if I'm feeling particularly stable and unlikely to be haunted by it, I'll give it another shot. There's a lot of stuff out there that I like so I find it an effort to read what I know I won't. I force myself to do that in politics and news, I don't usually want it in my recreation :-)
