Specific fic, dean with punctured lung

I'm looking for a fic i read a long time ago on ff.net
Sam and Dean had been hunting something out in the middle of nowhere and they got there on horses. Dean's horse was killed by the creature. Dean gets hurt and when sam realizes dean has a punctured lung he has to stick a giant needle i his chest.

Sam has to call for help but cant get any reseption on his phone so he rund up a hill but when he looks down he sees some rangers(I think) walking up to dean,  ready to help him.

the people they had borrowed the horses from had contacted the rangers when Sam and dean didn't get back and they were worried.

I have read this story and agree, it is most awesome. I don't remember the title right off the bat, and I am not home right now so I am unable to look it up in my computer. I will look for it when I get home and let you know, that is, if nobody else has piped up telling the title and author.
