I'm not sure if you'd be interested in this story as it doesn't have either of the boys stepping in a bear trap, what it does have though is - a wendigo hunt, a broken leg for one brother and a concussion plus sundry other injuries for the other, injured brothers fighting to stay alive and get out of the woods, flashbacks and a LOT of hurt/comfort and protective brothers.
