Odd Request - Ugly Motel Rooms

OK, here's a request for something that may seem a little odd.  I am fascinated by stories that feature particularly odd or memorable ugly motel rooms.  For example, in Ignipes' The Language of this Foreign Country, the boys have to stop and take in the DUCKY themed room decor (I love it!). 

So I would love any recs that anyone recalls as having memorable descriptions of the motel ^^;;.  Thanks in advance!
