Another verse that comes to my mind is Deathknell (http://nilchance.livejournal.com/241481.html) by nilchance and beanside.
The link leads you to nilchance's fic list, because in essence most of their stuff (especially the Hooker-verse and Retriever-verse) is really awesome.
